Environmental area

The Vogel & Noot Thermal Engineering Company is aware of its responsibility regarding environment and its employees. It therefore implements an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, and acts according to the following principles:

  

 

  • Resources are used very efficiently. Modern production processes keep the production of waste and emmissions at a minimum. The production of energy-efficient and eco-friendly goods secures the company in the long run.
     
  • We commit ourselves to observe the existing environmental laws and regulations, as well as to observe the conditions stated in permissions and other legal documents.
     
  • We commit ourselves continuously to improve our environmental performance by reducing negative effects regarding environment and to optimise our environmental management system.
     
  • We strive to raise our employees’ environmental consciousness by means of training sessions, by providing information, and by giving advice regarding their activities’ effects on the environment.
     
  • We are constantly being checking our processes’ and products’ effect on the environment.
     
  • When designing a new product, its effect on the environment is being tested over its whole life time, and the materials used are constantly being checked regarding their environmental compatibility.
     
  • The compliance with the environmental policy is constantly being checked; the business management has to varify, if the environmental management system is up-to-date and if the environmental policy is kept.
     
  • In the framework of our environmental policy, environmental targets and programmes for a continuous improvement of our environmental performance have been defined.
     
  • Our principles regarding environmental policy will be passed on to our employees and to any one who shows interest.
